Exeter's Leats & Mills

On 16 November 2018 - and again in December (due to the number of people wanting to join this event) - we met for coffee on the Quay and had explained to us the history of the Higher & Lower Leats. The details of that talk are on this link:

We then visited what remained of the leats before proceeding to Cricklepit Mill where the millers explained everything to us in great detail. Those details are on the following link:

Most talks are now on the second Thursday of a month. All meetings start at 7 pm and are held at LEONARDO Hotel Exeter, Western Way, Exeter EX1 2DB. The nearest car parks are the Triangle Car Park (at the rear of Leonardo Hotel) and the Summerland Gate Car Park (next to Vue Cinema). Parking at the Triangle Car Park is, unfortunately, no longer free in the evenings.
